Parc Communities Hosts Various Events for Active Aging Week at Its Atlanta Retirement Communities
Older adults can take care of their health and save money during Active Aging Week, September 21-25, 2009, the annual event that promotes senior health and features free local activities, information about senior lifestyle services.

Active Aging Week, the annual health promotion event of the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), will be held September 21-25, 2009 at Parc Communities’ four Atlanta retirement communities. As firm believers that everyone can live life fully no matter what their age, Parc is proud to open it’s independent living communities to host a noteworthy series of health fairs, wellness seminars, cooking classes, humorist performances, dance classes, brain fitness demonstrations, strength & balance training, water aerobics, lunch-and-learn presentations, wii competitions, yoga and tai-chi demonstrations, functional fitness classes and inspirational speakers. Events will culminate in the Grand Passport Ball dance Friday evening at Parc at Buckhead.
