Nothing turns buyers off more than the smell of smoke. * Interview three Realtors for current value of home; price to sell 10 percent less. * Advertise in print and online. My suggestion would be to at least hire a professional home stager to do a consultation - if you are motivated do it yourself types. We haven't even started with this list on traffic flow, highlighting architecture details, colors, staging for the target market,up dates, etc. If you really want your home to sell faster and higher - then it needs to be the shining star.
