The market for the luxury properties is much more smaller, because there are not so many buyers with such a strong purchasing power. But I don´t think, that the fact, celebrity was living in some house, doesn´t increase it´s value, at least in some cases. Hovewer, you have to considerk, that in most cases, people, who are buying such properties are also celebrities or other well-known persons. As a West Toronto Realtor I can only agree with the last commenter.
